Giving back through human connection and community

Foundant exists to support organizations doing vital work in communities around the world. Giving back is a natural extension of that purpose – and of our belief that lasting social good is built through human connection, not transactions alone. Our approach focuses on strengthening relationships, empowering people, and supporting organizations that create change by investing in trust, community, and long-term impact.

How we contribute to social good

We focus our efforts across three connected areas, each designed to amplify impact and encourage participation across our company and communities.

Basic Needs

Organizational giving

Foundant provides financial support to organizations that align with our values and demonstrate a commitment to building strong, connected communities. We prioritize organizations where relationships are central to their impact – where people, not programs alone, drive meaningful change.

Our giving supports nonprofit/501c3 organizations (or the international equivalent) working locally and globally to strengthen communities, expand opportunities, and help people thrive.

Education

Team member giving and matching

Our team members are deeply connected to the causes they care about. Foundant supports that passion by matching team member donations and volunteer time to eligible organizations, extending the impact of individual generosity.

This program empowers team members to support social good in ways that are personally meaningful – whether through financial contributions, hands-on service, or long-term involvement with organizations they value.

Health & Wellness

Volunteerism and community involvement

We encourage team members to actively engage in their communities through volunteer service and leadership. From hands-on volunteering to board service, Foundant supports meaningful opportunities for our people to contribute their time and expertise.

By showing up, listening, and building relationships, our team helps strengthen the communities where we live and work.

Foundant’s 2025 giving recap can be divided into three venues:

$68,000

Charitable Giving Commitee

$80,000

What guides our giving

Rather than focusing on specific issue areas alone, our approach centers on how organizations create impact.

Human connection as the engine of change

We support organizations where relationships – mentorship, peer support, collaboration, and trust – are central to achieving outcomes.

Community-rooted impact

We value organizations that are deeply connected to the communities they serve and build on existing strengths, knowledge, and relationships.

Empowerment over dependency

We look for approaches that strengthen people’s capacity, agency, and long-term well-being.

Trust and transparency

We prioritize organizations that demonstrate openness, accountability, and respect for the people and communities they serve.

Long-term commitment

We believe meaningful change takes time and support organizations that are invested in sustained impact.

A shared commitment to social good

As a company serving organizations dedicated to positive change, Foundant is proud to support social good not just through technology, but through action. By giving back together – as a company and as individuals – we help strengthen the communities that make meaningful work possible.

Charitable Contributions Committee

Foundant has also established a charitable giving committee with an overall goal to impact a broad spectrum within our community by distributing donations from Foundant to a wide variety of organizations. This group of Foundant team members will review donation requests from external organizations as well as fellow team members. If you are interested in submitting a request, there are some general guidelines for consideration:

Your organizations must be: (1) non-profit; (2) organized and operated exclusively for charitable, scientific, literary, educational, or other humanitarian and animal welfare purposes; (3) supported in whole or in part by charity; and (4) have tax exempt Sec. 501(c)(3) status from the IRS.

Organizations given priority consideration:

  • Programs that have Foundant team members committing their time and serving as volunteers.
  • Programs based in communities where Foundant employees live and work.
  • Funding priority will be given to an organization that provides direct support to the areas listed above, over a fundraising event (golf tournament, fun run, etc.) for such organizations.

General guidelines for efforts we will not support:

As you would expect, Foundant receives far more requests than it can financially support. To ensure the contributions we make are focused, there are some general guidelines for efforts we will not support:

  • Individuals.
  • Labor organizations.
  • Political organizations.
  • Elementary and secondary schools (except schools that have focused programs designed: (a) to prepare students for the workplace, particularly in technology; (b) for students with special needs; or, (c) for our diverse communities).
  • Daycare centers.
  • Travel funds, advertising, or promotional activities.
  • Organizations that do not comply with our non-discrimination policy (provided subsequently).
  • Related parties.
  • Organizations that might in any way pose a conflict with the Company’s goals.

Non-Discrimination Policy

An organization seeking charitable contributions from Foundant must certify that it does not discriminate on the basis of age, race, creed, color, national origin, religious beliefs, gender, sexual orientation, disability, marital status, veteran status, genetic predisposition, carrier status, or any other protected category under federal, state or local law.
